Jay Zihao Yang, LEED AP BD+C, Asso.AIA is a Los Angeles-based designer. With a Bachelor of Architecture background from USC. He is passionate about bringing design thinking to the changing future. His passion spans Architecture, Interior Design, Multimedia curation, and Animation. He works and trains as a designer in world-renowned companies, including HOK, Zaha Hadid Architects, Cuningham Group, and more.

His previous projects include Shenzhen Great Bay Area Super Headquarter Tower C, LAX Terminal 9 expansion, OPPO Dongguan Great Bay Area R&D Campus, and more.

With multiple design projects that won competitions and were highlighted in the school exhibition, He is proven to demonstrate his strong focus on exploring different design approaches and architectural representation.

He has been keen on parametric design tools such as dynamo and grasshopper in both working and academic environments. Meanwhile, he is experimenting with unorthodox architectural representations including Unity, Cinema4D, and Houdini.

Jay believes that only by proactively renewing both design tools and design thinking can we adapt to the changing future to come。
